Meet Rebecca Pollock, LPC

As a mental health clinician, I specialize in working with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. My foundational approach to client-care is Person-Centered Theory, integrated with various evidence-based interventions to address individual needs.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia (License #013131). I graduated from The University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Musical Theater. Following graduation, I worked as an animal behaviorist for nine years before earning my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University (GSU). My love for animals and belief in the human-animal bond inspired me to include therapy animals in my counseling practice. I have two registered therapy animal teams through Pet Partners: my dog Koda, and cat Tiggy.

As a mental health clinician, I specialize in working with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. My foundational approach to client-care is Person-Centered Theory, integrated with various evidence-based interventions to address individual needs.

In utilizing an integrative approach to counseling, coupled with evidence-based interventions, I am able to address each client’s presenting problem by using various tools. I can assess what types of interventions are best suited for each client and pull from my knowledge of different cognitive, behavioral, existential, and psychoanalytic techniques.
